Spectacular and rare Georgian necklace in gold plated metal, the pendant set with glass and foil enamel; antique English William IV 1830s.

Style notes — late Georgian period mainly refers to the early 19th century, up to 1838. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration.
