Spectacular ceramic serving dish with pierced border, floral hand painted decoration, by Carlton Ware; antique English Art Nouveau, circa 1910.

Style note — as a major international style, in different countries Art Nouveau had different names. For example, it was called Jugendstil in Germany, Secession in Austria, Stile Liberty in Italy and Modern in Russia.
