Exceptionally rare massive whisky glass tumbler, Death or Glory, with large panels, in cut crystal and engraved with a skull and crossbones on one side, the other is inscribed or Glory (meaning Death or Glory), with a double base and a pair of gambling dice trapped in the base. Antique English late Georgian period, circa 1820. Base size: 7.5 cm wide.

Condition: some surface wear, small chips on the base

Style notes — late Georgian period mainly refers to the early 19th century, up to 1838. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration.
