Magnificent antique box in gilded brass, in Gothic Revival style, set with nine large banded agate cabochon stones. The interior lined in leather. The box is unsigned, but because of the design and the quality of craftsmanship, it can be safely attributed to George Betjemann & Sons. Betjemann s produced a line of luxury boxes using the iconic agate cabochon design paired with polished brass.
