Exceptionally elegant and highly polished silver plated jar. Ideal for using as an ice bucket or dry storage cookie jar. On bun feet, set with handles in the shape of a lion head biting a ring, gadrooned body with a hinged lid. The lid finials is made in carved ivory. High Victorian design by Edwin Howard & Son. Antique English from the 1870s.
