Bold jug in pottery of a tapered cylinder shape, decorated with two moulded bands of walking elephants, of the Modernist style; vintage English 1960s.

Style note — homewares in the period between 1950s to 1970s were often produced in Modernist style. Defined by neat lines, bold and unusual colours and fairly minimalist shapes. All this often makes Modernist items very functional and timeless.
