Elegant Mid-Century Modern tea and coffee set, including a teapot, a coffee pot, a sugar bowl and a creamer, silver plated with black bakelite handles, floral band decor, by Viners; vintage English 1950s.

Style note — many household products designed in the Mid-Century Modern style were manufactured using new and unexpected materials – homewares in chrome, nickel, aluminium and plastic as well as plywood for furniture. They allowed creating new shapes on an industrial scale and were easy to use.
